Dining room lighting has changed dramatically. Today’s fixtures are long over the length of dining room tables. See these two examples, one artisan designed, the other from a well- established US manufacturer…
David D’Imperio presents several beautiful light fixtures at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show in NYC (3/29-22) – one is more gorgeous than the next. You can already tell by the beautiful photography on his website that David comes to lighting as an artist. His linear and long creations are fully in step with today’s modern dining room perspective – his fixtures range from edgy to playful, whimsical to romantic.
Hubbardton Forge appears to be reinventing itself too with a number of modern fixtures. Among my favorites “Cityscape”, which I prefer with the cable mounts on either side versus suspended from a center bar. While it standardly comes with a 5.3″ width, I am told Hubbardton will create longer fixtures on a custom basis.
Having purchased and installed Hubbardton Forge fixtures in many projects, I can truly say, I love their quality!
