Looking at the Solar Decathlon’s finalists’ green building projects fills one with joy and confidence around the next generation of young architects and designers. This series presents some submissions that jumped out at us among these impressive concepts:
Bravo to the Spitzer School of Architecture group of students who so carefully thought out what is the most wasted space in NY buildings – rooftops- and also created a solar powered, energy efficient modular structure – the only realistic way to build in New York City.
This kind of forward thinking design anchored into practical thinking regarding implementation / construction gives this solar rooftop a good possibility of being built – FANTASTIC!
