Ceiling lights generally are installed to light a room.  You want them to  function right – to provide good light.  They can look boring…

but this is another light that you really do not want to really see.  It’s main function is to provide bright light!

You search online – the all look okay.  But what will actually work right, i.e.  provide sufficient light?  You think three 60-watt bulbs ought to do it…. MAYBE….Here is what you need to know:

The critical details is the glass cover. If it has a frosted glass and the vast majority have just frosted glass it will NOT provide enough light.

Get a minimum of two 150-watt halogen lights….a big difference!  As you know, I am a big fan of LED but this is one case where halogen is the way to go.

Do you remember the other instance where bright light matters? Link . Find more  more important details on lighting in my book Kitchen Magic and give yourself well-lit and functional lighting.

One of my favorites is Access Lighting Vision 15” Square Ceiling light – simple and truly bright!

Be on the light side of life!
